I’m not normal, don’t stress your head tryna figure out why, just read till the last paragraph.

Yuppp, straight into my week. Monday was a public holiday, can’t remember how I spent it but I prayed and did some work. Went into work on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, work was going super well until Friday, my team got some reverts on our Father’s Day brief and we had to start ideating and writing all over again ASAP cos Sunday’s Father’s Day and creatives for four different clients needed to be sent out. (On the outside I was maintaining decorum and beauty but on the inside I was wailing because I had plans for my Friday that didn’t include so much work). Because my Team is made up of superheroes, we finished up in time and I was able to meet up with my friends for a dinner/games/gist hangout; a friend’s birthday was earlier in the week.

I honestly didn’t pray all through Tuesday-Friday cos I mismanaged my time and before I knew it I was tired and sleepy but I made up for this on Saturday and Sunday. (I’m super happy I picked up and didn’t stay prayerless💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽). My life’s pretty boring atm, it’s a routine; work, eat, pray, sleep, Netflix (I made a no Netflix after 10pm rule because I spend way too much time watching Korean movies 😩). My social energy isn’t back but we are pushing! There’s also no man gist because I don’t do it 💀 My focus is on God and the numerous bags imma secure by His grace😌. Just act like you can’t see that despite all the junk I’ve been eating I haven’t exercised. (Summer body won’t matter in heaven) I’m hoping to pick up on exercising this week, so help me God, amen.

You know how in the beginning I said I wasn’t normal? Well it’s because I’m better than normal. Normal seeks revenge, has an I can’t coman kee myself work attitude and so underworks. Normal is only kind to kind people who are kind in return, holds grudges, indulges in whatever it is they like (good or bad) Yunno, normal is an average person living life without Christ. But I’m better than normal, I have Christ living inside of me, I’m hardworking , I emanate peace, love and kindness, and I’m enabled to forgive and not hold grudges because I’ve experienced Christ’s reckless love.
